The times I was in Hawaii, I was able to drink Kona coffee than had been grown on the Big Island. When I went to the Big Island, I toured the volcanoes and one of the coffee plantations.

The coffee was very, very good.
On giving it some thought, I think I must revise my coffee intake information. I use 3 cups of water when I make my coffee which I put in one mug. I think I've been underestimating how much coffee I drink.

I would imagine! Lol eh... one cup... three cups... what's the dofference!?  I have been drinking instant coffee yesterday and today. We are watching a fore work stand selling fire works for the 4th of jully and my wife's parents brought a camper trailer to use at the stand because someone has to be on site 24/7 but they have no coffee maker... just instant coffee. I must say... it is without doubt the worst coffee I've ever tasted... lol

Enjoyed a couple cups of the Burundi light roast this morning. Over the weekend I was faced with the yearly ritual of finding good coffee in the town of Caboolture on a Sunday Morning. The usual place at the bakery had a disabled coffee machine, but I found a new cafe on the main street that was open early and serving breakfasts on the weekend! It beat Saturday morning when we had to cue up atthe coffee stand at the Abbey Medieval Festival. The Turkish medieval coffee making demonstration at the Ottoman Camp later in the day sure turned out some lovely coffee!

That sounds like some very tasty coffee! lol I've been adding our raw milk to my coffee and sure makes it tasty but it's just regular old store brand coffee. I ran out of my last special batch.

Well, I drank 12 cups of coffee yesterday again... lol I am thinking if no one else is going to drink out of the pot of coffee maybe I should only make like 8 cups... O_@

Finally stopped at the little drive-up Lingerie Barista coffee stand that is on my morning commute. It's not real convenient to get to, but there was roadworks going on and so it was a nice break. The young twenty-something lady of Senegalese heritage was quite brave in wearing her black silk chemise, tap pants, and stockings on this chilly 5° morning. Her beauty and attire aside, she is an ace barista, for she wrangled some of the best flavour out of the Blackstar Revolution beans and her espresso machine! She got a tip, and I may re-visit again!

Coffee was a bit acidic this morning. The maker was a couple weeks past due for its monthly descaling.

Oh boy ES!! That's no fun! I always stop drinking coffee when I am sick too, though... it just does not sound appealing when I am sick. Very glad to know you are feeling better.
I know what you mean about missing the coffee, though. Here recently I was doing a lot of travling here and there for various reasons and I tend to drink leas coffee when i am not at home. Once I got back and aettled back into my routine I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee while listening to my music and took my sweet time drinking it.... it's so relaxing when you have good music and a tasty cup of coffee.
