Recently, my wife and I have deviated from our usual job-sharing in making our pot of coffee (she’s responsible for the dosage of the water, I am for the coffee grounds). Due to asynchronous sleep patterns, sometimes one of us takes over the other’s responsibility too. But there have been neither health anomalies, nor even comments on drinkability of the other’s solo performance. So the job sharing is probably just a little ritual we indulge in while pottering around the kitchen when not yet entirely awake.
