Seriously!
Like those little petition things... they probably won't even care about it, but it would be fun to give it a shot :teehee:

Well I mean I signed the "Bring Back Norrington" petition, so heck anything can happen if that does... not that it will mind, but it sure made me feel better. :P

Wow, you've been busy chatting most of my night away... and Haldir you're quick.. when I browsed facebook earlier I found your group... nice job!!! :-)
You should advertise for more people to join from the forum!!

Hmm.. I'm really sorry I might never see JI in the Patriot... I have quite a strained relationship with Mel Gibson...

Nice one Haldy, I have joined.

You've mentioned Mel Gibson before Ea. How come you have a strained relationship?

Haha nice! Glad you found it so quickly

I think a bit of advertising IS in order... I've already invited a few A-U friends to join it, the people that I have on my friends list. And of course Gimli deary joined :teehee:

I've never actually seen the Patriot...

My strained relationship with Mr Gibson... is.. nothing that belongs in an appreciation thread for JI, it's just a personal thing... his style.. the way he expresses his beliefs. Dances with Wolves was okay but later he got very patriotic.. and very religious too. It simply comes down to a matter of taste and opinion.

There are actually a lot of facebook fan groups praising the lovely JI (and Alan Rickman too...!).. so now I know what to do next time I have a moment to spare!! *bounces*

@ Ea - Dances With Wolves was a Kevin Costner production, Mel Gibson had nothing to do with it. And with the Patriot, he is just an actor, he didn't write or direct it or anything. ;)

@ LadyOfRohan - Ooh, I think he's very handsome actually. Suave, sexy... ... seems like a nice bloke as well... :teehee:

@ Haldy - STEAL IT! It's worth going to jail just to see his long hair flowing and his unbuttoned shirt... tight trousers and black boots... :swoon:

Oh, my gosh. Yes he is! :-o

Actually, I don't like watching the Patriot mainly because of what happens to Tavington. :'(

Does he die??

Author:  Johnny's Fan [ December 31st, 2007, 5:00 pm ]

Well he's a British character.

Played by a Brit.

In a film where Britain is at war with Americans.

With Mel Gibson who made us out to be satan himself in Braveheart.

There was never much hope. :-(

...

*reads over own last post*

...

*checks personal calender for any scheduled appointments with either Mr Rum or Mr Vodka that might have interrupted her ability to write a meaning-coherent post*

I don't really know what I wanted to write. Honestly, I have no idea why Kevin Costner on the prairie popped up in the middle of my post when it should have been Mel Gibson in a [s]skirt[/s] kilt in the Scottish highland...
(But you know how I feel about Kevin Costner too ;-))

Anyway, last time the Patriot was on TV I actually thought of watching it because people had recommended it here, but it's a war movie... not very fond of those.. I'll consider next time it's on, though.
