I also agree with each and every one of you!! He is absolutely amazing!! I loved him in Star Wars as Obi Wan. I enjoyed watching his character.
well, Ewan's the only reason to watch the prequels!
You have NO IDEA how much I love that statement. My cousin and I were discussing the prequels vs. the original trilogy and basically came up with - had the script been well written, the plot focused, the characters developed, and a different casting for Anakin, they'd be amazing. As it is, Ewan is the only thing they've got going for them.

YES!!!!!!! I've found someone who says exactly what I think about the prequels. *but I'd have to add Chris Lee to what they've got going for them. He's so cool!*

I got to see him in Othello in London. As in I got to see him in the flesh! 4-7 feet away in all his gorgeousness. Also, as I was sitting at the end of the aisle next to the path that the actors used to come on and off the stage he walked right by me a number of times
Jealous? You should be
Oh and Natalie Portman was sitting in front and to the left of me (with rather greasy hair I must add) and Ewan's wife and daughter were sitting to my right (on the other side of the aisle) and he kept glancing at them. It was so cute.
He looked so happy for his daughter to see him get an standing ovation at the end. I think she was his oldest daughter, Clara Mathilde, born in 1996 (according to wiki) as Othello would be pretty bad to take a 7 year old to (the age of his other two daughters), especially as he was playing the villain (Iago). (I'm useless at trying to figure out how old children are and it was in a dark theatre so it might have been one of his younger daughters but I'm not sure.)
I saw it on the 22nd February which was the penultimate night. (Hence Portman and his wife and daughter.)
As for films....
well nothing can beat him in the flesh (shall I rub it in a little more? ) but I love him in Moulin Rouge.
He was awesome in Miss Potter as well even though I hated the film. (Can't stand Renée Zellweger )

Definitely one of my favorite actors . I watched Moulin Rouge on TV the other night, actually- reminded me how much I love that movie and his role in it ! I agree about his role in the Star Wars prequels, too. He was a great Obi-Wan, and in addition to Liam Neeson, one of the best things about the films (though I thought Revenge of The Sith was done quite well) 8].
Hravan- WOW, lucky = O! I'll bet he was a great Iago 8)!

I've only seen him in "Moulin Rouge". I don't think I've watched Star Wars before xD hahaha! But he did really great in Moulin Rouge. I keep on asking my cousin's girlfriend if it's his real voice or it's just lip sync, she said it is his real voice. I love his voice actually It's "ear-friendly" haha! Anyways, he's a good actor also. Maybe I need to watch Star Wars lol It's weird that I've never seen it before but I'm still not sure
