musn't forget Ewan McGregor as the only other bright spot in that film. ;)
Definitely not ;). Some would even say in the whole prequel trilogy. I don't agree with that sentiment personally (e.g. in Revenge of The Sith, I thought the intercutting of the scenes of Amidala giving birth to Luke & Leia and the scenes of Anakin being transformed into Darth Vader, screaming in pain, I might add, was a brilliant idea, very effective), but that's just me .

I, personally, think he should do some of those books on cassette/cd.
that would be awesome. <3

Haha yeah his voice would work wonderful for that wouldn't it. :)

And yeah, Ewan McGregor was good in all the prequals, but honestly thge only one I didn't like as well was episode three because of how pathetically the jedi died. other than that I liked them all. (but hey... it's starwars of course I liked it. :P )

Just an interesting fact by the way... did you know that Ewan McGregor is the nephew of the actor who played Wedg Antilies in the Original trilogy? I found that quite interesting lol

What Liam Neeson is Aslan??? I didn't know that..

He's a great actor and I completely agree he (and Ewan McGregor) was the sun and the moon in the Star Wars prequels! And I just recently watched Batman Begins and my mind refused to take in the fact that he played a bad guy there - I believed in him, even when he died!! :P

Focus on the Family made an audio drama *radio theater, they call it* that was basically a radio drama of the Narnia series....David Suchet did the voice of Aslan, and i think that if Neeson is ever unavailable to do the voice of aslan, Suchet could take over just as easily.

@Jax: actually, yes I did know that. I don't know if Lucas actually knew that or not about McGregor, but I think he and his uncle look alike a bit. :D And unless I'm mistaken, Obi-Wan had the same call sign in ep. 3 as Wedge did in one of the originals...can't remember which one.

That's interesting... didn't know Focus on the Family had done that.

I'll take your word for his voice though. :p besides... if your going to get someone to talk for Aslan... you HAVE to get someone witha voice like that anyway.

:) not sure about the call sign.... but it's just an interesting fact. :D

I saw it when it was in theaters! I thought he was amazing in it (not great at the US accent but still really good). The storyline was good in my opinion too. ;)

I have really only seen Liam Neeson in three movies come to think about it: The Haunting, Star Wars Episode I, and Taken. I love his performance in all three though.
