After spamming one of the Misc. Randomness threads, I realized that CB needed a thread about him, sooo...

Anybody else think he's cool? I believe he's most famous for playing Bruce Wayne/Batman in Batman Begins, but he's been in lots of other movies - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000288/ - including the great role as Laurie in Little Women, in which I just learned he was a mere twenty years old.

He played Demetrius --- and I loved the image of him and Helena together. :D

I love the Laurie pics, he's brilliant in that part, perfact for Laurie. :-D

The only other thing I've seen him in is Equilibrium which he was good in but was a pretty strange film.

I think Christian Bale is a great actor. My favorite is when he is Newsies, Batman Begins, and Reign of Fire.

Yay for Christian Bale! Oh man, I love him. The first thing I ever saw him in was Little Women. Laurie just rocked (Arwen, I LOVE the sig!). Ha ha ha. Larien and I had a Christian Bale movie marathon a couple of months ago. Wow. It was, interesting. The first thing we watched was American Psycho, which I LOVED by the way, and she was freaking out as he ran but naked with a chainsaw and I was on the floor gasping for breath because I was laughing so hard. I'll never think of Phil Collins in the same way again. . . ha ha ha. But we also watched Newsies (which was funny) and then the strangest movie I've EVER seen: Velvet Goldmine. Wow. Very, very, very, very weird. But Christian is such an AMAZING actor. Yay! Oh, and he IS Batman. :blush:

I need to see CB in more stuff...all these movies he's in that you're talking about make me want to see them :p

I saw Little Women a couple times a few years ago and probably thought something along the lines of "He makes a good Laurie" but I never knew the actor's name (or cared), but after I saw Batman Begins, Bellethiel broke it to me that the same actor also played Laurie.

Me: :-o *runs off to rent Little Women from library*

And so now I'm a semi-fan of his! Proud to say I know nothing about his personal life, which is exactly how I want it, because nearly every time I learn more about an actor, I wish I had stayed ignorant.

He can't seem to get away from wearing suits - he wore one almost every moment he wasn't wearing his Batman costume in BB, almost always wearing one in LW, and wearing one in the pic Kit posted from MNsD.

Naked with a chainsaw? Weeeeird...I'll stick with fully-clothed CB, or CB with shirt off in BB... :teehee:

Oh wow I love Christian Bale and his taste for roles. I can't wait to see him in The New World. I loved Batman, which is my fav super hero.(No! Definantely not Superman) It fit perfect Batman and Christian Bale. I thought he did a awesome job, ofcourse I liked George Clooney as Batman also, but I guess I would rate them about the same level. Christian just got to do a lot of more stuff in his script than George.

Well, there are certain guys who just look fantastic in suits and I personally think he is among them.

If you do watch American Psycho, I want you to know that you should probably prepare yourself for it. It's definately um, shocking? Personally, I'm a morbid kind of person - so I found it all so funny. And it IS funny, but it's a bit graphic. But it's a great movie, and he's great in it.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you if you've never seen Newsies, you should. It's a musical (so of course he sings) and it's just amazing! Ha ha ha

Um, I honestly can't remember. It was weird hearing him sing, but I thought he had a good voice. He was pretty young when he did it, but he had to have a New York accent for it, which was kind of strange. But he sings quite well!

OMG! He is amazing! He's 32... I think hang on yup (ok, he's 33) He will be 34 the 30th on January.


But dude! He's flippin HUGE!!!!! I dont know how tall he is, but his arm is like the size of my waist!!! Ok maybe no that big... What ever, he's still flippin huge! But he's amazing! I love him! He's gourgeous!

Has anyone heard that the next batman comes out 08? They havnt released a title for it yet tho.

^ I saw something about the Batman sequel on CB's filmography on IMDB. I wonder what the plot will be this time...(I haven't read any of the comics so I don't even know what the possibilites are)
