Heya!! These are some of my poems...I post 1 aout everyday.
Darkness Lifted
I hid my face in The Darkness.
Daring not to come out.
I saw a bright Light ahead.
I reached for the Light but I fell back down again.
The Darkness was too strong.
I strained myself to get up.
I was laying there in the dark
with tears in my eyes.
I lifted my head up and I saw a Golden Figure
Descending towards me.
I looked up at the figure,
But put my head down again on the hard earth.
I felt shy and not worthy enough to look at the Figure.
I started sobbing again, thinking that all hope
was Lost.
But the Figure lifted my head and our eyes met.
The Figure was a Great Gold Lion.
His eyes looked so sad that even mine did not
look as sad as his.
I covered my face and started to weep in The Lions
Mane.
The Lion roared.
The ground shook.
I felt like I was no longer sitting on hard earth
but soft, green grass.
I lifted my head and the darkness was fading away.
The Lion was no where at hand.
I was in the Light.
I wanted to thank The Lion
For all that he did for me.
