Wandring through the subconscious,
And you'd never think you'd realise all the melancholy and sorrow.
The malevolent pain of parting when facing demise,
Seeing no hope in tomorrow.
As your interior diminishes within sight,
Those crimson nights fading, those sounds of merciless cries.
Abstruse is the way of battle and war,
No one to trust, because of hate and lies.
As you come nearer to the surrounding
And see the west-ward water glistening.
You finally let go of your pity and doubt,
You can let go of the woe that was so blistering.
As your strides take you closer to your destination,
Gazing across the out-streched shore.
You peer behind and sigh deeply,
Despair and Loss linger no more.
