Read the 1st one titled Secrets....the 1st poem, b4 u read this one. tell
me wut u think!!
And after she wrote the poem,
About a week or so had gone by,
She met that special someone
To whom she knew that she could cry.
She’d known him for a while,
And trusted him, as well.
But he always tried to convince her,
That to him, she could tell.
And as close as they were,
As best of friends could be,
She still just could not tell him.
She could not let it be.
So finally one day,
They were met by fate.
He told her she didn’t have to say,
Not yet; that he could wait.
And that he’d be there when she was ready,
To tell all she had to say.
And until then, he’d still be there,
Until she was ready, not to keep things locked away.
And so the girl who told no one,
Who kept things locked away,
Finally told a secret;
She finally decided to say.
And ironically enough,
Once she had let him in,
She suddenly felt better;
She was glad she’d let him win.
And for the very first time,
The girl began to consider,
That maybe she could let people in.
Or at least, this one person, for sure.
She still was not ready,
To tell all she had to say.
But she no longer kept things so hidden;
Things weren’t so tightly locked away.
She wondered when that day would come,
and wondered what it’d bring.
She couldn’t help, but not wait until she felt
that she could tell him everything.
So she sat down and wrote this poem,
to the one that she’d let in,
to simply say thank you.
Thank you, for making her give in.
Thank you for helping me;
For not thinking it was strange.
And thank you, most of all,
for showing me I could change.
