OK, i THINK i've finished it............but i'm not 100% sure. so anyway, here it is, for now. tell me wut u think!!
On the outside
everything seemed fine.
Of all the pain and confusion,
I showed no sign.
Everyone believed the lie
that life was simple for me.
They didn’t even take the time
to look for themselves and see.
It was then that I met him.
He seemed to understand
all that confusion, and all that pain;
that my life was not so grand.
He was like an angel
That’d been sent from above.
He showed me compassion;
He showed me how to love.
Everything had been so dark,
Like the deepest depths of night.
But as soon as I looked in his eyes,
I saw a glimpse of light.
I had always felt so cold;
So cold and so afraid.
But as soon as I met him,
I knew it would all be OK.
He taught me that life could be fun;
That it wasn’t all hurt and pain.
He taught me to be crazy;
To laugh, and dance in the rain.
And back when he was still here,
I made a promise to him.
I told him that I would never give up;
That I would fight, & not give in.
But even though that now he’s gone,
I still live in the light.
I haven’t gone back to my old ways,
Of living in the dark of night.
For I know that he is watching me,
And protecting me as well.
I know that he’s standing right next to God,
Being my guardian angel.
