The notes like a river flow, from one chord to the next,
The sounds like ripples in a pond, or great sound high and grand,
To the talented musician, as easy to understand as text,
The sound as beautiful as waves washing over beaches of sand.

The Piano’s lonely lament for lost masters,
The violins quiet shriek, like a tame wolves howl,
The drums slow beat, ever getting faster,
The whistles breathy sound, like the hooting of an owl.

Punks’s scream of rage, its apparent hate,
Authorities grasp and constant media glare,
The quite tones of folk speak more of fate,
About lost loves and days gone by, both fair.

Rock’s expressionist sounds have made many songs,
Of melody of bass and electric guitars,
Classicals strain of rythm, that has for so long,
Has inspired mens hearts and calmed many fears.

Music is to mortals with tongues that speak ,
A balm for sorrow and deep concealed pain,
Yet such a salve can also hurt one most deep,
This shall forever be the musicians bane.

Comment me if you wish, I would appreciate it.

Mephiston
