Here's a poem I just wrote... Read it and tell me what you think of it, please!


A Dream

Sleep took me,
I fell into a never ending tunnel,
Bottomless and dark.
But somehow I knew you were there,
In my dreams.

I looked around,
I saw your shadow,
Standing not far away.
I smiled at you,
felt safe and warm.

I reached out for your hand,
Wanted you to hold me,
Wished this moment never to end.
We stood for an eternity,
Looking at each other.

But every eternity ends sometime,
All light faded, it got dark,
You drifted away.
I woke up, not willing to open my eyes,
Knowing that you won’t be there.
Already I missed you,
Wished that I went back,
Back into my dream.

Totally relatable to a dream I had the other night (with my lovely crush present in it) I really didn't want to wake up, this is awsome, kudos!

Can't stop laughing about it, I just write down my thoughts on a special topic and don't think about rhymes or what it sounds like... :teehee:
