Here's the first part
Prologue
Misadventures with a group of Nine
It has been a long time since I have written in this old journal of mine. I, Leonder, am traveling with my nine friends, or, the Fellowship of the Ring to be exact. Frodo Baggins, a hobbit, is the bearer of the ring. We are all on a mission to destroy this one ring, but I am not part of the Fellowship. I decided to join the Fellowship in their travels when I was in staying in Rivendell. I had no idea that lord Elrond had called a council, but I did know that the ring of power had been found. Elrond let me join in the council and I sat and listened. Frodo had brought the ring and he set it on a pedestal in front of us all. There was a great debate about what was to be done with the ring, and in the middle of it all Frodo stood up and said
“I will take the ring to Mordor… though I do not know the way.”
After that, the Fellowship of the Ring was formed. It consisted of Frodo, whom I knew through his uncle Bilbo, whom I know through Gandalf (but let’s not get started on Bilbo’s [i]adventure, shall we?), so, there was Frodo and three of his hobbit friends. There was his gardener, Samwise, who everyone calls Sam, Peregrine, who everyone calls Pippin, and his friend Meriadoc, who everyone calls Merry. Then, there was Aragorn, who is the heir to the throne of Gondor, Boromir, who is the son of the current steward of Gondor, Gimli, who is the son of Glóin, who was one of the dwarves that went with Bilbo on his adventure, and then there was Gandalf, whom I have known for a long time. Perhaps I shall write that down my past adventures some other day when I have the time to do it. But know… oh, I hear Aragorn calling me. I’d better go. We probably have to pack up and get moving again. Maybe I’ll write more tomorrow.
Léonder
If you like it I'll post the second part.

Here's the second part
-----------------------------------------------------------
I scratched my head as I tried to think of more things to write in my journal. Then I heard Aragorn call my name.
“Léonder!”
I looked up for a moment, wrote another few things down in my book, then put it away in my traveling pack and stood up.
“I’m coming!”
Shouldering my pack, I got up and walked towards Aragorn and the other members of the Fellowship of the Ring. We had just finished breakfast, and the sun was just making its appearance over the tops of the trees. Gandalf, who had been sitting on a log by the fire rose and stepped forward.
“We head west.”
He nodded his head in the direction that we were to go in. It had been two days since we had left Rivendell, and we were still in the cover of the woods. And we were two days into our journey to Mount Doom. I turned as Frodo, Sam, Pippin and Merry walked up behind me, followed by Gimli, Boromir and Legolas.
“We’re ready!” announced Pippin. Aragorn nodded in approval.
“Very good. We should get moving.”
Then we all started hiking out way through the woods, with Gandalf in front, Legolas behind, then Gimli, then Frodo, Merry and Pippin, and behind him came Sam leading his pony Bill, and last but not least came Boromir and Aragorn. I walked next to everyone, occasionally running ahead to scout out the landscape. We traveled like this until late in the afternoon when Gandalf called a halt.
“We’ll take a short break and then continue until nightfall,” he said. I nodded and was about to take off my pack when I heard Boromir calling.
“Come and see this!”
When I got to the spot where he was I saw that he was looking at a strange box. Everyone looked at the box in wonder and Aragorn frowned suspiciously at it.
“Maybe you should leave it alone, Boromir.”
Boromir ignored him and took a step closer to the box. It was small and square, probably one foot in length, width and height. It was a strange shiny white, and it looked like it was made out of smooth wood and it had a thin lid, but no apparent hinge or handle. Boromir knelt down to examine it.
“I wonder what would happen if I tried opening it?” He ran his fingers along the edge of the top of the box.
“Boromir…” Gandalf took a step forward. “I sense something strange about that box. Please leave it alone…” Just then, the lid of the box came off and a bright blue light shone from out of it. All of a sudden I felt like I was spinning very fast, so fast that I couldn’t see anything. Then I felt like I was being thrown… then I felt myself hit hard-packed dry dirt with a thud. I shook my head dizzily and looked up.
“Wow….. Where are we?”

Here's the third chapter
“Wow…. Where are we?”
I stood up and looked around. The Fellowship was standing around me looking about as puzzled as I felt. Aragorn shook his head.
“This is a very strange place!”
I took a look down the long dirt road, for, indeed, that was what I had landed on. I raised my eyebrows in surprise. It appeared to be a ghost town, like the kinds that you hear of in stories of the Wild West.
“Oh no…” I thought to myself. “Whoever is here will most likely have a gun!”
“What do we do now?”
I heard Pippin’s small voice ask rather scaredly.
“We should try to get out of this town as quietly as possible. We need to head for those woods over there and see if we can’t get out of this time period. We seem to have been sent forward in time. And into another place!” I said.
“I don’t want to scare anyone, but we’re not in Middle Earth anymore. I’m afraid people here have weapons that are beyond the ones we have. They’re called guns. They are shaped kind of like this…”
I knelt down on the ground and drew a rough outline of a gun.
“…and they fire small metal balls called bullets faster than you can blink. One bullet in the right spot and that’s it. You’ll be killed on the spot. So, make sure you are wary if you see anyone here.”
We walked slowly down the road with our hands on our weapons. I knew that we would look ridiculous if anyone spotted us, so I hoped that we could get out without any encounters with other people. We walked quickly and quietly down the street but just after we passed the Bar four men came walking out of the doors that were half falling off their hinges.
“Hey! Who are you!” one of them called after us.
“You’re not from around here, are you?”
I pushed Merry and Pippin in front of me and kept walking, taking a quick look behind me as I did so. My heart sank as I saw all four men draw two pistols each from their belts. Just then two other men came out of a building and jumped into the street in front of us. Each of those men had two pistols as well.
“Stop there! We want to have a word with you.”
The man who looked like the leader of the gang cocked his pistol and aimed it at Aragorn threateningly.
“Hand over your weapons.”
Aragorn put a protective hand on his sword and looked stubbornly at the man.
“All right. Never mind. Just go in there.”
He pointed to one of the building with his pistol and motioned for all of us to head in that direction. Aragorn sighed and walked slowly towards the wooden door, followed by the rest of us. I did not like the way the men always held their pistols aiming for our heads. Holding them in that way they backed us all up against a wall inside of the building.
“Now, will you all please give us your armaments? You should know by now that it’s out of style to be wearing big clumsy helmets....” the gang leader scoffed at Gimli, who growled angrily as the big man pulled off the dwarf’s helmet.
“…and it’s out of style to carry weapons anyway. I’ll take them all.”
He made sure that both of his pistols were cocked and nodded to one of his men to start disarming my companions and I. I rather grudgingly handed over my sword, and Aragorn, Legolas, Gandalf, Gimli, Boromir and the four hobbits handed over their weapons. Then the gang leader pointed at Gandalf’s staff.
“I’ll take that, too.”
Gandalf looked at his staff for a moment and gripped it tighter, but then he handed it over to one of the men. Then, the gang leader turned and spoke to his men in a low voice. They nodded and smiled rather menacingly. Then, aiming a gun at Boromir, who stood next to Frodo, he pushed him away so that the four hobbits stood by themselves.
“Now!”
Four men then grabbed Merry, Pippin, Frodo and Sam and tried to drag them into another room. It was then that I realized that the building that we were in was the jail, and we were in the rather dilapidated front room that had once served as the office. The hobbits were being dragged off to one of the prison cells!
“Aragorn! Gandalf! Help!”
The cries of the hobbits were drowned out as the men roughly gagged them with dirty cloths and bundled them into a cell.
Gandalf tried to get past the two men that were keeping us covered but he was not fast enough. There was a loud BANG and he gasped in surprise and shock and grasped his right shoulder with his left hand.
The gang leader nodded in approval.
“Heh, shot ‘im did you? You was always a dead shot, Lester!”
The other man nodded and twirled his gun.
“Sure did, boss.”
He then turned to Gandalf with a glare.
“Don’t try any funny business again, or it won’t be just your arm that I shoot next time!”
