When my heart is in the darkness,
When I see no hope ahead,
When I feel my wings have gone,
I can't but think of dread.
Yet in the darkness there is a light,
One so small it's barely there;
I can barely feel it's pressence.
When the light gets brighter,
and my wings come back,
I feel renewed.
My knight in golden armor
rides to me on his steed.
I am rescued from the darkness,
Hope is now rekindled.
I am able to live my life again,
because my golden night rescued me from the darkness.
(It's kinda random... I know... but I'm a little board...)
heres another:
In the distance I hear it.
A beat so pure and strong.
It's there in the distance, I hear it.
It beats in time with my heart.
As it gets louder, off in the distance,
I see what I have been searching for.
A horse, as white as the snow around me,
runs tward me as I open my arms.
The beat of it's hooves leaves hoof prints on my heart,
as I watch it go past, just out of my reach...
