This is a quick poem I wrote a few weeks ago when I learned that I could be going to India on a mission trip this February. I hope you enjoy it. Take this heart, and lead me where you'll have me, over the planes into the strife. Take these hands, that I may build your church, and improve your children's lives. Take these feet, that I may travel to them, singing songs of sweet, sweet grace. Take these ears, that I may hear your daughters, calling out unto their King. Take this mouth, that I may preach the gospel, freely to the gathered crowds. Take these eyes, that I may witness children, coming to the holy father. Take this heart, and lead me where you'll have me, over the planes into the strife. |
