Okay, so here's a poem I wrote about a character called Serena Reine, invented by SilverRose and me
I won't reveal the entire storyline we're plotting, but let's just say she loses her heart to one of the LOTR guys ^_^ Heehee.

Too cold inside to even reply to your explanation
It's just another string of words, no need for conversation
I know you won't stay here by my side
A part me knows, and has died....
You were the stars,
You were the bright light shining above
You were my life
You were everything I so desired to have
But I must watch you build your life away from me
And I am down below here, you won't even notice me...
I will retreat behind myself
I won't speak to you, you won't know I was there
Did your heart ever feel for me?
I loved you so much, could you not see?
If only these dreams would turn into a living legacy
The fragile hopes I held so dearly.
Pale stars shining above me
The bright light has faded, you're my beautiful memory
I can't escape it, you're the one that I loved
You were it all, you were the stars above.
This was so heartbreaking, so beautiful. I showed this to one of my RL friends, and she said it would make an amazing song...and I think she fell in love with it. 
I'll shalt bug you to write more of these, and now I want to write my own. We should keep a collection of Serena poems here!
