Composed standing in the middle of the Thames (its quite shallow at the moment and not too wide here in Oxford) Just a little museing but it expressed the moment. The sun is almost done with her long goodbye She's off to seek southern skies But the water lapping gently at my feet Still remembers her sultry heat Though the winds forgotten her |
