Warning: Most of my poetry will be rated T for depression, sickness, and death.

I hope you like them. I love writing poetry because I find a part of me that usually doesn't show. Enjoy~

Where I belong (T-A little sad)

How is it that where I belong only exists in a dream?
I see the starlight, the lanterns a-glow
And suddenly I realize how perfect the moment is
But it is only fog that slowly fades away
And I wake up to realize that here I am is not where I should be
Why can't I stand in the breeze, my love by my side
A hero he would be if he only became flesh of words
Yet nowhere is he to be found
Nor the breeze that brought him to me
The ship with flag of reality is the one I dread
For where I belong is not of sword, but of ink

Any Day (T)

A ny day could be your last
B ecause of today's trials and pain
C ount your blessings, count 'em fast
D oing so will leave no blame
E ven fate can't change the way
F or today could be your last day

Little Sprout (K)

I was just a little sprout,
Always full of doubt
Everything was big,
Everything was scary
But you would tuck me in at night,
And take away all the fright
You would water me,
And give me plenty sun
As I got older,
My need would lower
I wouldn't need you to tuck me in,
And take away the fright
I'd be embarrassed when you hugged me,
Or told me you loved me
But now I see,
You were always there
Every tear I shed,
Every time you sent me to bed,
You were only helping me
You were only loving me
You were only being a mom
For that I am grateful,
And for the record,
I love you too

Where is my Valentine (K)

Everyone has a Valentine
But oh, where is mine?
I search through the line
Hoping that she didn't decline
It's half past nine
Where is my Valentine?
Oh this is great, oh this is divine
Oh where, oh where, is my Valentine?

Leaving Home (T)

Lifting up responsibility
Eating from life's plate
Adventuring towards the unknown
Vacantly searching abroad
Inviting in plenty mistakes
Nearing farther
Going slow
Hoping to see something familiar
Opening your heart too wide
Meaning to find something worthy
Easing away, day by day

Ode to the Beach (K)

To on which sea shells lay
The wet sand shall play
A beautiful song
That lasts all night long
And the breeze carries away

For the beach is warm
The beaches swarm
With people who stay throughout the day

The rolling waves
The swishing sound
The sun's shining rays

Here I go
Here I come
To the beaches loving ways

A Taste of the World (K)

To have a taste of the world,
A spoonful of adventure,
A sip of bravery,
A splash of cultures

To see the pyramids,
To have a taste of the world,
To swim with sharks,
To visit the wonders

Snakes and spiders,
Slimy toads,
To have a taste of the world
To see the unseen

Just a little more adventure,
Just a bit more bravery,
Just a pint more spice,
To have a taste of the world.

Love of Ocean (K)

Silent waves rolling over the sand,
Won't you take my hand
And let me lead you to the ocean's band?
The birds flying over us,
The sunrise creating the perfect mood,
You would be a fool not to.
Wet sand and your wet lips,
Both of which I have missed.
We stroll across, collecting rocks,
Fishing at all the open docks.
A perfect morning,
A perfect day.
At the beach and with you,
I'll always stay.

These are amazing! You really have a gift for poetry and finding the right words to use. Have considered joining the writing club over in the Glittering Caves?

I asked to join, but I don't believe I've gotten a response yet. And thank you for the compliment. Writing is a part of me. (:)
