White doves rescind their constitution
as the free radical is absorbed,
a ciphered wing under order sixty-six

The cancer is real enough
but by now is terminal,
the gateway to freedom obstructed
by doublespeak and the 'blessed' meek:

those who would deign
to overthrow the reign

absolved of opportunity, cut off
