I wanted to share an excerpt of one of my poems from the anthology, "Mirrored Voices," which I was honored to be a part of. I don't get any money from the book sales of this anthology but it's a great opportunity for me to reach a wider audience!



"A battle bought," tells the tragic tale of battle between countrymen and an invading force of dragons. It is unclear from the sketchy history just where this battle took place or who wrote it. What one can learn from these verses, however, is that victory comes with a great price.

"A BATTLE BOUGHT"

Crystal craters caress the tree line,
Smoke and smog arrest the sunshine.

Fiery flames frolic and prattle,
Formidable foes attest to battle.

Dead dragons defame the holly ground,
Wounded warriors nearly drowned.

Red rivers ruin the tree line,
Men mourning arrest the sunshine.

Victorious voices vanish from fields,
A battle bought with sword, life, and shield.

Ah, gotcha. lol I am not too familiar with that. I've actually not had opportunity to present my work in public other than through my books online.
