I am not sure what you would call this... Not realy a poem and not realy a story so... Hope you injoy it. Please comment.




Friendships Burden.

I walked through the darkened hallway as pain shot through my veins. Each step
sounded an empty echo of loneliness against the cold stone floor. Stumbling through
the black light I headed for the door.
I was sure that you would be there waiting for me. I thought it would soon all be over.
I reached the light, so bright it was as dark as before.
After traveling through the ice cold darkness, just to walk this dark shore.

I saw your face in the ocean, smiling back at me. But when I reached out to touch it, it
vanished before my eyes. My smile faded with your face as I walked through the
shimmering land. Light deflecting in bright shades of white, casting blinding images in
the land.
I thought I herd you call to me, your sweet voice like a symphony. My search went
on, after you quit your song.
A single tear rolled down my cheek, and soaked the white sand through. I
understand how alone it was, I wish I could vanish too.
I walked on down the beach, the shimmering sand compressing under my weight. I just
wanted one more time to hear your voice, to see your face, to hold you. One more
time for you to hug me so I could once more feel. But now I realize that you never
could, you are not even real.

lol. I have been like that my whole life... Things just randomly pop into my mind... I thnk that's why I can never keep my atention on books I am reading unless I can make a movie of the book in my mind.. *shrugs again*

that's cool. i do that too. see, i'm a reader. i LOVE to read. lol. it's so awesome. wut kind of books do u like? i luv fantasy (LotR, Narnia, HP, Eragon/Eldest, Pendragon,etc. ) have u ever read anything from the Pendragon series? a new series i found a couple of months ago (i'm waiting for the next book 2 cum out, as i'm w/ so many series. one of the great things a bout LotR....they're already all out!!!) it's really good.

I really don't even get a chance to red much. All I have red are star wars books. ( a precous few) and some other random books when I was young. (not counting school)

ur missing out. lol u havent read the lotr books? u should. or if u dont, @ least flip through them & read the poetry. Tolkien wrote some awesome poetry. especially in the FotR. check it out. i bet u'd like it.

Not really...I mean, I've read longer. but i guess if u don't read a lot they are. Here's 2 of my favorite poems from the FotR book:

This one is my favorite. It about Aragorn. Bilbo wrote it:

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong do not whither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashe a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.

I like that one a lot. i like how it flows & rhymes (sp?) & fits aragorn perfect. & this one is said @ the council of Elrond:

Seek for the Sword that was broken,
In Ilmadris it dwells.
There shall be councils taken,
Stronger than Morgul spells.

There shall be shown a token,
That Doom is near at hand.
For Isuildur's bane shall waken,
And the hafling forth shall stand.

That one's good, too. OK, i'm rambling on here. lol sorry!!!

lol. That's ok. I don't mind it when people post alot. (unless it takes me forever to red it and then sometimes I would prefer it not take so long but that's about it)

On Instant messenger? Why would you be quite then anyway? You talk on it... that's what's it's for.lol. *shrugs* The only trouble I have is people NOT talking much at all...?

Yes, it drives me crazy when ppl don't talk. a lot of my friends r like that. We'll be on aim & i'll type this whole paragraph & then they reply w/ 1 word like "cool" or something. it's really annoying. lol. ya, i tend 2 talk a lot everywhere.

lol I know! I really only talk to one of my cousins becasue I don't know anyone else to talk to really so....

But most fo the time she will say something, wait five minutes or more, say something else. She is doing other things but mideswell no teven be talking so.... yeah.
