“Others” A subtle code inside my heart, Tearing at my soul. Will we always be apart, Or will we soon be whole? What can take away the shadows, Glomming in my day? Who alone but God knows, So to Him I pray. Pray for safety for them all, And the ones that are. Pray that none of them may fall, And I won’t leave a scar. That one day I will be there, Holding tight to them. That one day we all will share, joy once again. One day I will know His plan, Take a stand and say. I will hold to His hand, And then to yours I pray. |
