A Mere Reflection
As I reach the destination
And peer into the shallow depths of tears,
A lost mortal glares back
Her eyes reflecting her sorrowful fears.
Wednesday's child woeful as always
Illuminated water never hiding that fact,
The eerie eventide consuming false hope
Dreams of unreachable places they forever lack.
Mirrored whispers drift in the distance
Nameless being living in eternal winter,
Deep slumber no answer to life's question
But what if all's difficult and freedom is to wither?
Dip my head into the elemental abyss
My replica's appearance I unmistakably tore,
My mere reflection soon to be lifeless
And I shall behold the agonizing grief nevermore.

Wow! I really like that Noc, so deep and powerful. I know this will sound wierd but it reminds me of the wind.
