OK guys... what do you think of this? It reflects on my love for the nature in new Zealand... In the glorious sunset I soar above Tinges of gold and pink colour the landscape The crinkles in the ancient earth are my love The small lumps on the horizon begin to take shape I see mountains in all their majesty And lakes as blue as a summer's sky The fluffy sheep watch the flightless kiwi As it takes elegant steps toward me, but its shy I smile and keep walking to the raging coast Black sand riddled with jade beckons me These isolated parts have no intention to boast Because the untouched land has amazing beauty From Aoraki to the gleaming sand There is no place like New Zealand ![]() |

Mel, Loved it! Your sonnet emphasizes (through some remarkably evocative images) that New Zealand is an extraordinary world treasure. |
