And you can't take mental pictures and post here? *disappointed*
Well, Fíriel I demandeth thou overcometh thy laziness! And Aerandir thou also... make the mental picture liveth!!!

A disaster? Nah--I simply would have to draw the mental picture, so that all of you could see it, instead of just me.

So they would be cousins, removed about 50 (maybe more, I don't know, I didn't count) times. Is that right? Anyways, Aragorns would be so far away from Elros, that it's not gross. And that also means Aragorn is part maia, but even less than Arwen.
Yeah, I find that very interesting as well. (both facts actually but I just posted to comment on #2) Seeing as the relation is so obscure and remote - probably something like fifteenth cousins thirty times removed - I have no issue with it. I read a very well-done fanfic once in which Legolas attempted to explain to Eldarion the relation between his parents and that Elrond was the father of one and the father figure of the other - the little guy couldn't quite wrap his mind around it. It was so cute! (sorry if that was off-topic)

Ah, that sounds like a cool fanfiction--kind of confusing, undoubtedly.

Yeah, it's posted on the fanfiction board here somewhere...that was the story that made me fall in love with Eldarion.

Well also, it mentions that there have been 3 Elf-Man pairings, all related:Beren and Luthien, Idril Celebrindal and Tuor, and Arwen-Aragorn, each descended from the prior one.
