Slight difference there.
What I think is confusing about Tolkien's writings is that he changes his mind so many times.
In the History of MIddle Earth so many different names are given than in the Silmarillion.

Well after seen The Hobbit last night I decided I needed more Middle Earth so I went to the library and since they did not have The Silmarrilion which I have read through before I decided to grab this book as I do know a little bit about it already from the Silmarillion and looking forward to a good story and from what I've heard a sad story

I think the Children of Húrin is the best book about Middle-Earth. I like it pretty much because you know all the time it wont have a happy ending. I like books like that, but I felt sorry for Nienor and Túrin about a week after I've read it at the first time. Túrin tries to escape the curse of Morgoth, but everything he does turns to evil and makes him feel sad/bad. He's whole life is just fleeing from a despair to another, and in the end, when he kills himself, I started to cry, cause I realized that he'll be safe now, no one tries to turn his life into horrifying nightmare. And then there's Nienor. Something about her fate makes me feel that it is the worsest thing what could possibly happen to someone. The whole story is so full of sadness and the evilness of Morgoth, what makes the book so epic.

It is quite the epic tragedy tale for sure. I agree with your insights on the book Nienor Níniel! It is quite the dark and touching story. It was a challenge for Professor Tolkien to take this tale into unknowing incest in that day and age. Likely a reason why it wasn't published sooner.

And what about Glaurung? I think it was the most epic villain ever, even if it was doing all the things cause Morgoth told it to do so. Well, it died in the end when Túrin killed it, but what happened to the spirit inside it? Or something like that I've read, something about the evil spirit inside Glaurung.
