I voted the Hobbit, though the Fellowship, and the Return of the King are the best ones to me too.

The Silmarillion is my favourite book. I love its magic ! But I love it mostly because it's the history of the elves - history - my fav subject; elves - my fav race.

I like Return of the KIng. I know it might be weird but I like it becase it is the darkest of the three books.

My favourite is Farmer Giles of Ham, followed by Leaf by Niggle. Third are all the Middle Earth books and there i cannot choose from, since they belong together...

I think my most favorite is ROTK. In this book you see how much the characters changed from where they started. It's just a powerful book:). My next favorite would be "The Silmarillion". It really fills you in about Middle-Earth History.
