I really want to read The Peoples of Middle Earth. It sounds like an awesome book becasue theres supposed to be an unfinished sequel to the LOrd of the Rings and a second tale on Aragorn and Arwen. Anything else thats interesting in the book?

Really?! That's awesome! I'm gonna read that book...and I don't care if there's anything else that's interesting. Say 'an unfinished sequel to the Lord of the Rings' and I'm there :)

Oh you can't find them anywhere? That sucks...here I can find all of the HoME series except for volumes 6,7 and 11. I actually just bought The Book of Lost Tales part 1 and 2 today! w00t! Good luck finding them where you live :)

I suggest ordering the PPls of Middle-Earth because its really hard to find, though the Book of Lost Tales Part 1 is pretty eaiser, just look in the science fiction/fantasy section of your local bookstore.

BTW, I ordered a copy and I can hardly wait to read it!

I'd seen most of the works between www.amazon.com and www.amazon.co.uk , but some were used, so there may have only been the one copy...that was about 2 weeks ago.

p.s. Oh I check ebay and do google searches on rare book sellers as well...those are always changing.

The book is availible on amazon.com for $19.80.
Amazon says this about the sequel:

'Peoples of Middle-earth also includes the previously unpublished opening pages for The New Shadow, the sequel J.R.R. Tolkien almost wrote to The Lord of the Rings. It begins after Aragorn has died and hints at a dark plot to overthrow King Eldarion. Sadly, Tolkien felt no passion for the story, which he deemed would be no better than a thriller. So he abandoned it just as the first taint of evil arose.'

*Grumbles angrily about abanonment* :annoyed: :annoyed: :annoyed: :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( >:(

Peoples of Middle Earth, or HoME #12, is one of the better books for the obscure information I think.
