My favorite is Finrod Felagund. It was really sweet for him to go help Beren and leave his own kingdom. I also really like Turgon.

Fingon- a good king of the Noldor, I think it was so sad when he was killed by the Balrog, Gothmog.

Finrod Felagund definitely. He and Galadriel were the only two descendents of the Finarfin line that were the most kind and wonderful. Although Maedhros does do something for me

Finrod or Turgon......Finrod or Turgon.....Finrod, most definantly! Turgon comes pretty close though.

Wow, I love your banners Larael Greenleaf! I'm a huge Galadriel fan myself.

Don't ask me why but i quite like Feanor. i mean, OK he overreacted with his Oath and such things but he was good from the begining. Also Finarfin would be nice

My favorite is Finarfin because he is Galadriel's father, his mother was a Vanyar, and i don't know... well he didn't revolt against the Valar, which is pretty "brave" because he didn't follow his brother, and he stayed in Valinor...
I like him...

Hmm, that's a different perspective on Finarfin. I never disliked him, but that's a good way of showing his bravery.
Before I read the Sil, I always thought of Elves as amazing beings who could do no wrong. That's kind of how LotR put them. But reading the Sil, and looking at Elves like Eol and Feanor, (no offense Elf Girl) they did do a lot of harm to the world.

Yeah that's true... i kinda see Feanor like the Morgoth of the elf... i know lots of people will disagree... i don't say he is bad and everything : it's just a comparaison, but i don't really understand why he's reacting so strongly...

Out of the Ñoldor, I like Maglor a lot as he regretted taking the Oath of Fëanor the most, but seeing as he's not an option, I'd have a tough time choosing between Fingolfin, Turgon, and Finrod Felagund. I mean, I wouldn't pick Turgon really; I love his realm but am a bit disappointed he didn't heed Ulmo's warning... as for Fingolfin, he fought against Morgoth (w00t!) and I love the most common painting of that fight, but *cough* he had dark hair. Finrod, on the other hand... total blond! And he had a cool ring, too. And he fought with Beren. So.... my vote goes to Finrod, not that I don't like dark hair, that is.

That story is really good! Do you know where it's from, Elf Girl? It doesn't really seem like Tolkien's style...
