Hey! Yeah, I listened to the FotR and TTT on audio book! My little sister needed to hear them (I kinda forced her to... heh heh) and they were pretty good!

I've listened to the audio book of the Hobbit, and most of Return of the King. They were good, but i only listen to audio books when i'm drawing, cause i can read them much faster than it takes to listen to them

Yes, when I was in elementary school we would listen to them during car trips. They were my first exposure to the Lord of the Rings. I have the Sil audibook... part II but have never listened to it...

I used to have audio cassettes of The Hobbit, which were brilliant! But I haven't heard the LotR ones. I have however, got the BBC Audio play of LotR which is amazing. Ian Holm plays Frodo and Bill Nighy is Sam. It's kept me entertained on many a long car journey. I will say that there are 2 down sides: Shelob is hilarious, as she sounds like Mr Blobby And for some odd reason an Eagle descends from the sky at Aragorn's coronation and sings (in Falsetto) a re-cap of what happened. But it all adds to the charm.

I listened to an audio version of FotR, which was pretty good. The reader sang all the songs, which I really appreciated; it was nice to hear how he thought the tune would sound.
Lembas, I'll have to check out that BBC version! Bill Nighy as Sam... that will certainly be interesting.
