I saw this in the bookstore a few days ago. How did I not know (forget?) it was out? Did you guys read it yet?


Is it worth getting for a Winter Solstice gift? I'm quite a fan of Arthurian literature.

I've been wanting to buy it but because I still haven't managed to read The Legend of Sigurd and Gudrún I've banned myself from buying The Fall of Arthur.

But I was in the library the other day and did a catalogue search for Tolkien to see if they've got any of the HoMe books and they had the new Tolkien book! Cue me madly rushing back downstairs to the fiction section and hunting it out. I'm the very first person to loan the book out.
I then went to a coffee shop to read the whole poem. It was very good. I need to pick it back up again and read the rest of the book which is Christopher Tolkien's commentary and notes about the poem.
