I keep wondering how important it is to actually test doors in a showroom before buying a front door. Last year I ordered one online without seeing it in person, and when it arrived the swing felt way lighter than I expected. Since then I’m thinking maybe touching and testing the door beforehand matters more than I thought.

’ve noticed a lot of people underestimate how different two doors with similar specs can feel when you actually handle them. Small details like the weight distribution, the firmness of the seal, or even how the handle responds can influence long-term satisfaction. Showrooms give you a more realistic impression than any product description. Even if someone ends up ordering online, trying a few models first usually makes the final choice much more confident.
