Hi everyone. I'm 32 and tired of my office job. I want to switch to something meaningful that helps older people. I don't want to be a nurse. Are there good jobs in senior care that don't need medical training? What options pay okay and feel rewarding? |

Yes, there are many unexpected jobs now because more seniors want to stay home. You can start as a companion caregiver for company and daily help—no big experience needed. Or try elderly fitness coach if you like exercise. Other roles include home modification or tech help for seniors. Check this out for details: senior care support careers list. It lists 9 options with pay info from BLS, like companion roles at around $35k or home mods higher. Many give good job security with the aging population. It's fulfilling work too. |

I switched last year to companion caregiving after retail. No certs at first, just short training. I help with meals, walks, and chats. It pays decent and I love hearing life stories. The demand is huge—families need reliable help. Try it if you want direct impact without hospital stress. |
