You still need a first cause though that wasn't created, which is Iluvatar in Middle Earth. If you don't have that you would keep needing another creator and another creator to have created that creater and so on

Well it is very different from Christianty in Middle-earth. Ilúvatar seems more like a myth or legend to the people in ME - I'm not saying they don't think he exists it's just that they don't seem to think of him as having any bearing on their lives. You can see this is LotR where he's at least hardly mentioned.
