My character Hanasían, of which I've written an ever-expanding fanfic around, was the twenty-sixth of the thirty Rangers gathered in haste.



I wrote this back when I first wandered onto this site. I have to say little has changed, though I may be a bit hobbitish.

I am a woman, but can`t see myself in any of the ladies in the book.

Sometimes I`m like Gandalf, easy to laugh but also easy to be angry. I want to understand everything.Energetic and fiery.
Sometimes I`m like Faramir. A gentle soul in the crazy world, who is forced to fight.

Well... I WANT to say I am most like Aragorn because I love his role so much. :P

I do tend to be more serious and set in my ways, slightly withdrawn, and very driven in some ways.


However, there is this part of me that longs for a simple life and has nothing to do with adventure. Though I know the adventurer in me would always win. So I am thinking I have a touch of hobbit in there.... maybe sam. *shrugs*

Part Boromir for the human flaws but loyal and Sam for always trying to help his friends.

Sam has always been ine of my favorite characters, even though he doesnt seem like a major player so to speak, he really is the hero in a lot of ways!

Éowyn .... which is why I chose to be a Shieldmaiden, initially Éowyn_Shieldmaiden and then Evil.Shieldmaiden.

Shieldmaiden, I am curious why the "evil" in your name if you are a lot like Epwyn? Unless Eowyn has a sevrect dark side I don't know about. :p


Healic. Rossie is an interesting character and I actually thinknit would have been neat to have seen more of her. Maybe even a short movie or some extended scenes that takes place after LOtR.

As you are aware, I am a longstanding member of the Council of Elrond. One of the things that makes CoE unique are the Realms. Each of the Valar, with the exception of Melkor, has a Realm which members can join. The Realm I chose to join, The Realm of Vairë the Weaver, has an interesting theme that dates back many years. Weavers have the option of joining a Corrupted, or an Uncorrupted, faction.

I joined the site as Éomer_Sister, but ended up joining the Corrupted side in the Realm, not because I'm particularly corrupted, but because it is fun, and works well in the Realm games and discussions. I became known as "ES" and, when I realised my name didn't fit my persona in the Realm, I changed it to Evil~Shieldmaiden. That was I was able to keep the Éowyn connection and my "ES" sobriquet.

Those of us on the Corrupted side, belong to Morgoth/Melkor/Sauron's armies and we have ranks. I am currently the highest ranking member of the army as Lieutenant-Colonel. Thanks to my being Moderator in the main Games forum the corrupted aspect has infiltrated them as well.

Sounds fun! If I had more time to manage two sites I would defenitely join the CoE.
