Can I join too? It sounds like fun. I hope I'll remember the time and date and I am home from work than, but I'll do my best. I've read the Hobbit and it was so much fun reading it.

Welcome to the Reading Group, Elu and SCP! I'm glad you felt brave enough to join us even though we're in the middle of the book: as I stated at the beginning, new members are welcome to join us at any time!  If you want, you can add one of the two glitter names eowynfaramir4eva made for the TRG. 
As Elberethsq said, there are discussion boards up, so feel free to post in any of them. We're about to start on the next chapter, and the discussion should be up for that one later this week.
Welcome again, and if you know someone else who might be interested, let them know they'll be welcome too! See you in the discussions, and hopefully at our chats! 
Oooh, everyone, because of things that came up, I just now posted the week's reading assignment. So I hope you won't mind if the discussion board for it doesn't appear until later this week. 8) And remember, the next chat is FINALLY coming up. I didn't think I could join, actually, so I didn't start reading the book. My apologees for that. I can't start reading the book either, because I don't have it. I will join you at the point the Tolkien Reading Group advances to the next book, which will most likely be the Fellowship of the Ring.
