Nienor is going to be gone for a few weeks, so Arsarniel is going to handle the discussion questions as well. Anyway, if you haven't noticed already, our first chapter discussion (Dark for Dark Business- anyone recognize that? ) is up. So go ahead and post away! Any thought to the questions posted, any questions of your own, or thoughts that popped into your head while reading. 8) And we should have our first TRG chat a week from tomorrow, I believe that's Saturday July 9th, so stay tuned for details.

Thank you to all who have already joined the TRG. I know we're in for a great time! And with Tolkien writing, what else could it be?

OK we read the first chapter until July 8th? Well sorta finshed the first chapter. Or are we supposed to read more?

I see I've missed a lot! Nothing happens for about a week and when I come back everything is already started! Never mind, I already told you I was at chapter 5...

I love the banners! And I'm happy we've finally started!

This seems interesting but I'm reading Book of the Lost Tales vol. I for second time... I'll start reading the Hobbit again maybe soon but you'll be ready when I reach that point...

Whoever has finished reading the week's chapter can begin discussion. We have our own thread for it, actually, and will have a new thread for each chapter!

There are questions already listed that you can respond to and give your thoughts about. Also, if you have come up with any questions of your own or had any thoughts while reading the chapter of the week, post that.

Discussion is the next step. That's partly why a week per chapter. It gives time for people to get around to reading it, and then gives time for us to bat around ideas about the chapter. 8)

I will not be able to be at the chat as well. I also will not be able to answer the chat questions for chapter two and maybe chapter three as well.

Wait, will we have the whole chapter 2 dicussion Saturday?

Not that I'm aware of but I'll be gone for a few weeks I might miss that as well.
