I've found out that the original manuscripts for The Hobbit and LotR will be on display at the Marquette Libraries’ Department in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on specific dates from now until 2014 - is this news worthy? It's open to the public and all that jazz. I just didn't know what to say in the topic bit, since it's neither "The Hobbit" nor "Site news". xD

No, you should be able to add news yourself. When you log in, and it says "add news", and you write your article, on that page, what options does it give you? Because there should just be a button, one click, and then it's added.

When I try to sort the posting of the news out it says "This article is posted under category which you are not allowed to access". Fail. I'm so fail. *EDIT* Oh my gooood. I dreamt that I came back to this thread now when I woke up and JF had writte a LONG message reprimenading me for a bunch of things and I got so upset that I started crying.  _________________

Okay ladies, I put up the poll about the humor section. Maybe it would be an idea to make a news item about it, so that people who normally might not pay attention to the poll, can be alerted to the fact that we need their help? _________________

I added it to the news of the site, although it seems rather pointless seeing as how the poll and the news item is on the same page and basically literally right next to each other. ^I don't know about other people's browsers, but I have to scroll down to see the poll, and if you're there for something else, you might not take the time to, in which case you wouldn't see the poll.

For me you see it the same time you see the news section, meaning that if you see the news section you also see the poll.
