If it makes it easier, sure. So long as they all look the same and nothing blows up, I'm okay with whatever.

Hang on, you've got 5 style sheets here. Let's combine a few of them and make this easier.

Whoa, whoa. I have been attempting to update this coding since pretty much the summer. The new CSS sheet that should be used for everything is "layout.css". Nothing else. All new pages should have that layout and reference that sheet. I've been trying to go through all the older ones but it takes a lot of time. PLEASE do not mess anything up.

I'll try. I'm used to using stylesheets for my own website. What I've done thusfar is just put all of the new material in Layout into styles, where I'd put the pronunciation and elvish tags. I'll have to edit the H-tags in the elvish section, but everything else should be fine. The other 3 stylesheets however... is there any point to keeping those? I looked them over, and they're redundant.

By the way, I'm not the only one with copies of the pages on my computer, am I?

Why is the front page broken?

Because it's got a lot of iFrames and RSS2 feeds and the like on it. Basically, there's a whole bunch of pages on one page. To get it all to match, I'll have to go through each one.

Okay, not to be rude, but considering Nurr has been working on this for quite a while, maybe she should have a say in how this is done. Right now the front page looks completely messed up, so if there's any way to get it back to how it was before you changed the font without doing anything to fix these CSS sheets or w/e they're called, I think you should do that and then this can all be done later when Nurr is available.

Alright, I'll put it back. I'll leave playing with the CSS to Nurr. For now, I'll add the needed Elvish sections with the Layout.css and leave it at that.

Okay, great It's not that I don't appreciate what you're doing, I just think since nurr is kind of in charge of coding she should be consulted before major things like this are begun...

Thank you. I don't want to be rude, but I have been trying to deal with this for quite a long time, and I'd appreciate it if you'd just check with me before you make major changes like that.

Don't worry, I didn't delete anything. I just changed "layout" to "styles", that's literally, all that I did. Really easy to fix. Sorry that I gave you guys all heart-attacks. I'm currently fixing the Elvish pages to match Layout. First page done is this one: http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/elvish/book.htmlWhat do you think?

Alright, done. The Elvish section now has tiny fonts and is using the Layout stylesheet.
About tiny fonts... is it more important that the information be readable or that it look pretty?

The font size is subjective. The font colour, whether it be italics or bold is all subjective. Some find some things easier to read, others dislike it. We can't aim to please everybody.
But what most people do appreciate is order and consistency, which with keeping everything looking the same on AU with font sizes, colour etc is one way of doing that.
And in my eyes the font we use on AU is not tiny, but the font that is currently peppered around the site when it wasn't yesterday, now that is tiny.http://imageshack.us/a/img507/1393/fontsw.jpg

It shouldn't look like that anymore, because I put back the old version of the style sheet, and updated the Elvish files so they'd match the new style sheet.
