Remember to keep discussions on topic, girls. Anyway--returning to our original question--I'd be very upset if they changed the end of the book, even though their deaths are tragic. They'll do the scenes justice, though, I'm sure, if Boromir's death and Theodred's funeral are anything to go by. _________________

Oh, that's HARD! I mean, it's happy on one hand, and angry on the other. I would probably be like this, lol. 'Yay, they lived! No, they DIED in the book! You can't do that! It's against the rules' And then I'd rant about it for days. _________________

I could imagine Thorin & Co. minus Thorin, Fili and Kili at the burial, but I imagined it more like Theodred's burial...  WHY???? Why, Tolkien?

I actually forgot that they died in the book. XD So I wouldn't care that much. I mean they're already messing the story up a lot and it's turning out as a good /film/, as long as you ignore how it happened in the book. Now if Thorin didn't die, I'd be very upset.
