i love that line and scene! it took me awhile to catch that line but hte first time i heard that i just laughed out loud!! lol i love legolas and gimli!!!! :-D

I laughed when Legolas said that, I was like yep thats the response of an elf lol.
I did like the fact that Legolas had a sense of humor with him in the story must have been from traveling around with Aragorn alot.

Or simply based on his personality...?
Elves might have the same sense of humour as other races! :P
But the comment was great. The comic relief was really needed especially in the two other movies, where the quest gets so desperate and dark.

Lol..I love Legolas and Gimli's "humorous" scenes. I'd have to say that my favorite of them would be The Final Tally in TTT.

Legolas and Gimli are hilarious. As are Merry and Pippin. I think it's great with all the comic relief they all create, because the plot is really dark.

I like the growing friendship throughout film between Legolas and Gimli. It's really nice. There are a few scenes where humor is very very good. I think PJ did a very good job of showing the growth of their friendship. :)

i love the EE when the war is over and Gimli is sitting on an orc, and he goes,
G:"How many orcs did you get?"
L:"41"
G:"Ha. i got 42"
*Legolas shoots arrow at the orc Gimli is sitting on.*
L: "42"
G:"that didn't count! he's already dead."
L:"It was twitching."
G" Thas because me AX is in his nerve!!!!"
