Isn't it queer how the colour of Legolas' eyes are constantly changing from blue to his original brown. Are they continuity errors or is it supposed to be like that?

i believe that is true. youd think they would touch that up digitaly though before they would release the film, because that tends to be confusing :blink:

Well Orlando's eyes are brown, and I think he just forgot to wear the contacts a lot. So, aye, continuity I reckon on the film front.

Probably. I make a game out of it, and point and laugh when I see him with brown eyes. :-D My friend showed me the first time I saw LOTR and it's been a great joke ever since.

Never noticed it, I just couldn't get over how good looking the elf was.

Actually. The blue contacts they had him wearing were really, really uncomfortable. They irritated his eyes to the point where he could wear them all the time.

I feel bad for Bloom, I wouldn't dare put contacts in my eyes I don't like them. I know he had to do it for the movie but I perfer glasses.

I've never recognized that, but it's interesting. I'll watch out for it the next time I see the movies.

I've noticed it and I think it would have been better if they had kept to one colour. I personally like the brown colour better, the blue looks so funny on him.
I don't pay any attention to it when I watch the film, but on pictures it's funny.

I've never actually saw that happen, like other people said. I'm just too busy wondering over the fact I'm watching the movie in the first place. (My brother owns all the movies and rarely lets me watch them.)

I dance on windows!!!
Sorry, just had to get some of that randomness out of me. don't know where it came from.

I've realized that, but never really thought about it. i'm always too buisy watching him lol. his eyes being irritated sounds like a good explanation.

I hadn't noticed the change in color until after my mother pointed it out to me. I actually happen to prefer the brown eyes over the blue ones...I think it has better contrast. ^^;

Yes, I've noticed this, and thought it hilarious!

Yes, I definitely like him with brown eyes. Much nicer. The blue just looked, um, too pretty.

You're right. The blue didn't look natural. The brown works better for him.
