I just don't know how they did it! My legs would've ached and I wouldn't have been able to go out and spend an entire day running around acting at different locations.

Yeah, I saw this on one of the DVD special features: A Day in the Life of a Hobbit.

Poor Hobbits! They looked great though, so it was worth it

I watched the DVD commentary for RotK, and Billy said that he went and had his teeth drilled in his hobbit clothes, and he sweated so much that his hobbit feet fell off, 'cos he didn't get his mouth numbed or anything.

Oh im nuts about their hairy legs! I wish i could go without shoes

They also said that about half the time they were shooting, you couldn't even see their hobbit feet! The poor guys... all that pain for nothing!

PJ looked at every single little detail when he made the movies. He did the best he could at every thing, and he wouldn't miss something as memorable as the 'hobbit feet'

sorry am a bit late on this but actually they did play games of that sort... one was called 'cup' where they made a paper cup and start punching it into the air trying not let it fall to the ground. if you have listened to the commentary on fellowship of the ring film, its hilarious! Elijah farted on that scene where they land on the east road! and dom adds sounds affects to it on the commentary when that scene comes on, its so funny!
