there's a part in the movie (forgot the scene) that they didn't edit the video, but they edited the DVD. there's a car in one scene! :lol:

I believe when Sam and Frodo are walking through the field where Sam says "if I take one more step it will be the farthest away from home I've ever been." in the background, while the movie was in theatres, you could see a car in the background. They edited it out before they put the movie out on video.

no, I tihnk they didn't edit it out of that scene. that's where it was, if I remember correctly. but they didn't edit it from the video

I've read and I believe I've seen an interview, not quite sure since it's been a while, where they said they did edit it out before the movie came out on video. And I can't remember ever seeing the car in the movie so I tend to believe they editied out.

Now the only mess up on that part that I know of is when Frodo and Sam are walking you can clearly see Elijah is wearing boots.

I know what part you're talking about, because I've hears this from so many people.

But as many times as I've watched it, I can't see the car! It drives me crazy! :P

I just watched it to check it.. But I couldn't find anything that could be a car... By the way, I loved that scene: it really showed the friendship between Frood and Sam :)

yes me too. And I don't understand my comp... why can't I delete the posts which it posted twice... *arrgh* however I really like that part and the music is so beautiful, it really fits to the scene in my opinion

I've never seen it! I have the vhs verson of fellowship of the ring, but I think your talk'n about when Sam & Frodo were in the cornfield at Farmer Maggot's? I've heard about this from some website with LotR FAQS.
