I love double irony.
Very true, very true. Though would Barbossa listen to Jack the way Pintel listens to Ragett?
Aye! I could. Though you guys might not enjoy it, in fact, "I rather doubt it."

Okie dokies... sorry everyone for the lack of updates! I had school orientation this week and it really took up a lot of my time. If you'd all be so kind as to tell me about any new family members, marriages, divorces, etc. I'd be most grateful.

Now that you mention it, that doens't seem very likely. Maybe they're more like the pirate captian versions of Murtogg and Mullroy.
Completely right! But you can creative something more original from less.
@ Lar... Well, Anie was adopted by Drew and Will Sr., and Star Gazer was adopted by JF and Norrie.

Ah well. Murtogg and Mullroy are less smart than Jack and Barbossa, and P&R don't quite fit either. But you guys know what I mean.
Good point!

Ánië Súrion wrote: Yeah, you're probably right. Though, seeing as Ragetti apparently scares Jack, "now that's what you call ironic". (10 points for you if you know who said that ) Thanks. Well, all of us can't be writers, I guess, some of us have to do something else or everybody would be locked up in their houses all the time and the human race would die out. *shrugs* My mom used to call me and my brother tape-recorders, because we could (and still can) recite whole scenes from movies. I guess I'm just really good at learning by sound. Have tea... sorry but that just made me giggle. You have a point though, none of you were single for long... Well, we'll see I guess. I'll find somebody eventually. It was Ragetti! It was Ragetti!.... darn, but Taur beat me to it! *sigh* Very true! lol my talents are in different places I guess.... well, we wouldn't want that to happen now would we? well, as far as LotR and PotC go I (and my brother) can recite quite a few scenes.... especially in PotC.... but other movies we/I can't.... so I guess I'm not as far behind you in quotation and memorization as I thought I was. I know nowadays hardly anyone takes tea (although when we stopped that practice we may have lost something unique...aaanyway...) but since Becky is adamant about never changing his routine we still take tea in our "imaginary" house. but I understand why it would make you laugh... nope, none of us were single for long. yeah, you'll find the right guy (maybe with my help? ) eventually. Taurquende wrote: Oh PD! You really should see it! It's like an older version of PotC. We'll compromise... Hurray for imagination! I know what you mean. I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who needs a starting place (once I have one I can do pretty good but before that.... yeah lol) .... so we can sympathize with each other. I could not see Barbossa listening to Jack like that.... although does Pintel really listen to Ragetti? Pintel seems to be the leader and Ragetti just follows along most of the time. ok, ok.... I'll definitely have to see it! (very true! although Tolkien did a good job and the world he created was what I was sorta referring too... it was very original.... I wasn't dissing tea, I just thought it was funny the way you said it, in the same sentence as "see a movie". We'll see, I guess. Calloniel (PD) wrote: lol no way! I was thinking of the scene where Ragetti gets the idea to tie themselves to the mast "so's when the boat flips we'll be right-ways up". But I see what you mean, normally he's more of a follower...
 Yay!
(Oh, okay. Thanks. )

well, thank you! *accepts the prize*
thank you! yup, everyone has a talent... everyone.
yeah... I knew you weren't dissing it I guess it might have seemed a little funny coming out with "see a movie". but, hey, what's wrong about combining the two worlds?
well, there Ragetti does come up with the idea but I was thinking of the many other times where Pintel really seems to be the boss.... I wonder if that thing I read was right about Pintel being Ragetti's uncle... I got it from a decently reliable source that said Pintel and Ragetti's actors (I forget the name of Ragetti's right now ) made it up themselves.
(no problem. and you're welcome! )

You're welcome.
Aye! I definitely agree!
Nothing, I kind of think it's a neat idea...hey, I should ask a guy friend of mine to try it with me sometime. Bring teacups to the movie theater and pour soda in them, and finger sandwiches.
Oh yeah, I just read that this morning! *high fives* Which I like, because it kills the idea that they're a couple or whatever. No offense but I never enjoyed that thought... (Ragetti's actor is named Mackenzie Crook, and Pintel's is named Lee Arenberg no I didn't just look up the spelling of Lee's last name )
Speaking of which, now's probably as good a time as any... Family, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Ragetti!
(*crosses fingers and hopes Daddy, Grandpa, and Uncle Cutler don't throw a fit* )
