Oh, by the way, I asked my friend who wrote the gallery script to take a look at it, and I think the line of code he gave me fixed the screen cap sorting issue. The few galleries I checked all seemed to be back in order at least, but feel free to take a look and let me know if anything's still wonky.

YAY it's all in order now! Awesome. I didn't check all the screen cap gallery pages, but I checked the one I used last (when it was still disorganized) and it's now back to the chronological order it once was.

Awesome, thanks Arweb! :)

Coppermine has some pretty steep perks and downsides.

Perks (many JF has already stated): looks more professional, once everything is up and running management is easy, no need to make thumbnails, user interface.

Downsides: hell of a lot of clicking to get through galleries and to images, complicated installation and then post-setup design and coding.

The thing is, the two downsides are huge so basically cancel out the many perks. XD

I think at this point, it really depends on what people want and now, most want to stay with the current system. I think the latter is fine, but it may be nice to do some gallery revamping. The good thing about A-U's galleries is that they are easily accessible, but there is something that looks really outdated about them.

I like the size of those screencap thumbs! Perfect.

That there is exactly why I can't stand Coppermine.

Yes, we did.

One day when I have time, I will create a Coppermine account, fix it up, add some photos and then I think, we can make a decision based on something a member here has created, not just another persons gallery. Maybe they'll look the same, and maybe not. But for now, the galleries are going to be staying the same. :-)

I was reiterating what you all have decided that the current gallery setup is fine and dandy. :) I think it would be a good idea to do a little housekeeping though, and make it look a little better. Am I crazy and alone?

Well apart from the thumbanils for the screencaps being a different size, the galleries will be staying pretty much the same. I have a list of images that are too be removed either due to they are not needed anymore or I have found better quality versions. The galleries will of course, be updated as I have hundreds of pictures to add.

But I think generally everyone has made it clear they like how the galleries are, so I'm not sure how else they could be improved, but suggestions would be most welcome. :-) If you check out the images thread perhaps?
