... Um.

Honey, you're going to have to be more specific. There are a lot of threads in the forum. Try to get me a proper link that works or explain it to me what it is right now.

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis is a chronic illness that affects around 25,000 people in the UK alone.
M.E. of CFS(Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) or PVFS(Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome) is literally a nightmare. It's nearly impossible to understand if you don't have it yourself, or have had it yourself. Its immensely hard to explain, but there are a few way that I and others have come across to explain it. Many lose friends who don't or can't understand the condition, which leaves the affected feeling isolated. Doctors and therapists either have trouble or don't believe in M.E., therefore many sufferers have trouble with treatments to help the symptoms of M.E. There is no known cause or cure.
From AYME[ww.ayme.org.uk]
Quote:
ME is a recognised relapsing and remitting medical condition with many complex fluctuating symptoms. Its existence is confirmed in the January 2002 report by the Chief Medical Officer of England and Wales (downloadable from the Department of Health web site at www.doh.gov.uk/cmo - for Scotland see the Scottish CMO report published February 2002 http://www.show.scot.nhs.uk/). The report states that ME is: ""¦ a genuine illness and imposes a substantial burden on the health of the UK population"

@Legolas15: All I wanted to know was what it was, I didn't need an essay, lol.

@DarkMelda: Ah, so it was you that requested the ME club? Well, hop to it!!

Can I start a club for the Brobdingnagian Bards fans that I know are lurking around? I looked for one but didn't see one.

I have no idea what Brobdingnagian Bards are or is... so... sure, why not? Is it... what category would it best fit in?

Kit, I've looked but I didn't see any club dedicated to the Great Tolkien. So I was hoping I'd be able to start one? :)

You would think this whole forum is one big honkin' dedication to Tolkien but there IS in fact a club for Tolkien. In the Directory, under "Lord of the Rings" there's a "J.R.R. Tolkien" club.

Well, that's essentially seasonal, so... it can't be quite year-round and we have so many discussions about Christmas around that time that having an actual club might be overkill.
