As a self-confessed line quoter, I've never heard Aragorn say that. And I've seen both versions numerous times. |

I remember the whole scene. It went like Kitoky says here Kitoky wrote: Yeah, I know what you're talking about. I do remember it being in the EE and Original DVD though.
Two Towers Transcript wrote: <Scene: The Helm's Deep armory. Aragorn inspects a sword, tosses it down scowling. Men and boys file by and are fitted with weapons and arms.> Aragorn: Farmers, farriers, stable boys. These are no soldiers. Gimli: Most have seen too many winters. Legolas: Or too few. Rohan Man: There you are, old man. Legolas: Look at them. They're frightened. I can see it in their eyes. (At Legolas words all the men stop and listen to the conversation.) Legolas: Boe a hyn, neled herain dan caer menig. [And they should be... Three hundred against ten thousand.] Aragorn: Si beriathar hyn, ammaeg na ned Edoras. [They have more hope of defending themselves here than at Edoras.] Legolas: Aragorn, nedin dagor hen u-'erir ortheri. Natha daged dhaer. [We are warriors. They cannot win this fight. They are all going to die!] Aragorn: Then I shall die as one of them! (Aragorn stalks away, Legolas starts after him.) Gimli: Let him go, lad. Let him be. It's RIGHT before you watch the scene where Gamling is putting Theoden's armor on him so as to prepare for battle. |
