Post subject:  This has always bothered me....
In the "King of the Golden Hall" scene, when Gandalf baninshes Saruman and frees Theoden, he throws back his old, grey cloak to reveal ihis shining white one, then PJ decides to stick in this totally random picture of Legolas just for the heck of it!

I admit he is hot, but still it's completely pointless and distracting. Has anyone else noticed this?

Lol, no offence to Orli lovers, but I don't particularly like him..you know, that way, lol. He's a good pansy....i mean, elf. Lol
And I have absolutely no idea why he put that there, maybe because...nope, no ideas, lol. If i think of any, i'll tell you. lol

Have you ever wondered why the movies lasted three hours? Randoms shots of Legolas! Non stop! Aragorn draws his sword. Legolas. Gimli chops an ork. Legolas. Frodo gets stabbed. Legolas.

Well, I don't really know. The best idea I can think of is that they want to show Legolas a bit surprised, almost as if he's thinking "Whoa. That Gandalf is pretty sneaky." But he doesn't look it. I don't know.

Yes that is true. I have nothing against legolas. (He is really yummy) But it seems that they show more shots of the hot guys than of the not so hot guys. For example, how many Gimli posters have you seen, with just gimli on it? None, that's how many I've seen! Whenever they show Gimli it is almost always with Legolas.

Yes, that's true! I guess it wouldn't bother me as much if it were Gimli, or if they also showed Aragorn's and/or Eowyn's reactions but just the fact that it's Legolas and they're feeding him screentime just to get more girls to go the movie...

it also bothers be a lot... if PJ didn't have to do all that publicity the LotR movie would have been much better I think.

Lol, I find this topic rather funny!

Yes, PJ did kind of stick random images of Legolas throughout the movie, but maybe he was just trying to show how Legolas would react in that situation or something. :P

Oh that made me laugh! lol.. So true!!

But I also think that maybe the put it there, coz surprise, you know, dances across his face, and this is the guy who gave us a great big long history lesson all the way through the paths of the dead, it's kinda of wierd when you see the all-knowing Legolas surprised. lol.

I wa always courius as to why he did that too. Orli is cool don't get me wrong, but he already has so many cool scenes why not give someone else the random moment? :P
