*sigh* agreed. They should have had some fancy sword fighting between Eowyn and the Witch King, just to show how powerful he really is!

I think the witch king got long enough, if he had gotten any longer I probably would have fast forwarded through it. I mean what else could he have done........he killed someone.......he injured someone.........he swung his little spike ball around........and he got stabbed by a woman.....what else could have happened. I thought it was long enough.

I agree, the fight should have been longer. The Witch King is an uber powerful being after all.
Fancier sword moves would have been cool too. :lightsabre:

I think if it had just been *swish with morning star* *dodge* again and again and again it would have been boring, but a little dark magic, flaming sword and fancy fighting would have been worthwhile  _________________ (Became a Valar on 16/06/05!)

I agree with Kitoky. When she said Eowyn can't take all the credit. In the book it was Merry who killed him. But to include that they would have had to add the house of Tom Bombadil and explain about how that knife was the only one that could hurt him. It would add at least 20 minutes to an already two hour movie.  Personally it was a just right.

I can imagine they fought for longer, but I seriously cannot imagine anymore time of the film being added on...!
That would make it too long!
Maybe they were still fighting between scenes  _________________

Yes, it should have been much longer. The Witch King is not at all easy to defeat. To emphasize that, the filmmakers should at least have made it look more difficult and much more longer. Everyone else (or almost everyone else) is saying the same thing.
And even in the books, it seemed a bit longer for Eowyn to defeat the Witch King. But the movie left many things out that were included in the books. (Hence: The scene with Eowyn and Famarir is too short.)  _________________

I do agree that the fight could have been longer, but I like it the way it is! Like Elberethsq said the Witch King souldnt be easy to defeat, so PJ could have made it longer. Oh well, at least there was a fight:P

Yeah, I know, but it's maddening to think of all that was left out of the movie that played a role in the books. _________________
